PROJECT : LET’S DO DINNER EVENT

CONCEPT & CREATIVE DIRECTION / BESPOKE INVITATION DESIGN / LUXURY EVENT COLLATERAL

MMD was honored to concept, design, and produce the bespoke gala invitation experience for Stella Artois’ Let’s Do Dinner series — a luxury brand activation rooted in hospitality, craft, and cultural relevance. Conceived as an immersive kit-of-parts, the invitation functioned not simply as correspondence, but as a tactile brand experience — setting the tone for an intimate, chef-driven evening headlined by David Beckham, with guests including Matt Damon, Ludacris, Maria Sharapova, Sean Evans, Teddy Swims, Steve Wozniak, and other global cultural figures.

At the center of the experience, a personal letter from Tim Ovadia, Global Vice President, articulated the purpose of the evening and its beneficiary, Matt Damon’s Water.org — an organization that has helped more than 70 million people gain access to safe water worldwide.

The custom presentation box unfolded as a narrative object. A handmade ceramic sculpture by Gustavo Sousa reinterpreted Stella Artois’ iconic chalice as a sculptural hors d’oeuvre serving set — transforming a brand symbol into functional art. Curated gourmet provisions completed the composition, elevating the invitation into an anticipatory ritual and an immersive prelude to a night of philanthropy, speakers, and refined dining.

MMD extended the design language across the full event ecosystem — from menus and custom serveware to place cards, interactive conversation coasters, and dessert presentation boxes — delivering a cohesive luxury hospitality environment where brand, object, and experience converged.
