EXHIBITION DESIGN / CREATIVE DIRECTION / GRAPHIC & PRODUCT DESIGN

In celebration of the 75th anniversary of Peanuts, the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Peanuts Worldwide present Snoopy in Style: A History of Peanuts and Fashion—a captivating exhibition exploring how fashion has influenced the world of Peanuts, both within the comic strip and in the life of its creator, Charles M. Schulz.

Spanning two floors and ten immersive spaces across approximately 10,000 square feet, the exhibition invites visitors to experience the intersection of style, storytelling, and cultural impact. MMD placed special emphasis on the printing process that originally brought the strips to life, incorporating lithographic dots as a recurring visual motif throughout the show. Large-scale video screens play with macro and micro zooms, offering a cinematic glimpse into Schulz’s—affectionately known as Sparky—creative world. The exhibition’s palette stays true to the original black-and-white comics, punctuated with touches of silver that nod to the mechanical artistry behind their production.

Special thanks to Melissa Menta, Peanuts Worldwide (vision); The US, EU and Japan teams of Peanuts Worldwide; The team at the Charles M. Schulz Museum; Jeannie Schulz; Sarah Andelman, Just an Idea (retail and vision); Jean-Charles and Pauline de Castelbajac; Starbucks (café); The team at Apple, Paris (panel discussion); Volontiers Paris (production), Nick & Liz Stokes (video), Caroline at Turenne Events (venue); The team at Magna Presse (publicity); Julie Ansiau (photography); and the small army of builders, movers, drivers, installers, engineers, lighting & video teams, and everyone that contributed to the success of this multi-layered experience. It is a true joy to work together and bring people the happiness that is Snoopy and Peanuts.
