GLOBAL ACCESSORIES COLLECTION / BRAND SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT

MMD conceived and developed a global co-branded accessories collection for MAC that redefined the brand’s retail category and extended its visual language into product.

The collection became one of Oprah’s “Best Bets” and catalyzed significant expansion within MAC’s accessories business—establishing a scalable design framework that bridged fashion, beauty, and function.

Central to the collection was a signature custom jacquard, developed by Matt Murphy, which evolved into a lasting visual asset for the brand. The textile language continues to inform in-store graphics, upholstery, packaging, and product linings—embedding the design DNA into MAC’s global retail ecosystem.
